About JK Institute of Applied Physics and Technology
J.K. Institute of Applied Physics and Technology Allahabad has started admission for the academic year 2024. The result of JEE Main 2024 session 2 has been declared by the NTA. JoSAA counselling 2024 registration will begin in June for BTech admissions.
JK Institute of Applied Physics and Technology courses include different specialisations at undergraduate, postgraduate and doctorate levels. Some of the JKIAPT popular courses include B.Tech, M.Tech, B.Sc, M.Sc and PhD. The JK Institute of Applied Physics and Technology fee structure for all courses has been approved by the affiliating university, i.e. the University of Allahabad. Students can pay the fee annually. The institute also offers financial assistance to economically weaker students.
Along with offering guidance to students for placement, JKIAPT offers teaching and assistance for GATE examination. During the previous year, 37 students from the institute qualified for GATE 2022, while 3 secured ranks among top 200 rank holders.
JK Institute of Applied Physics and Technology was established in 1956. The institute is located in Prayagraj, Uttar Pradesh. The University of Allahabad's Science Faculty Campus is where the JK Institute of Applied Physics and Technology is located. Pt. Jawahar Lal Nehru laid the institute's foundation on April 14, 1949, and the JK Charitable Trust took care of developing the infrastructure and its management.
The institute has established itself as a pioneering institution in India for the study of Electronics & Communication along with Computer Science. The institute began offering postgraduate programmes in 1986. The institute is a leader in undertaking major research and teaching initiatives for the past 60 years. It is one of the oldest and most innovative institutions in the fields of Electronics and Communication along with Computer Science subjects.

JK Institute of Applied Physics and Technology Courses and Admission 2024
JK Institute of Applied Physics and Technology courses include B.Tech (CSE), B.Tech (ECE), B.Sc in Computer Science, M.Tech (ECE), M.Tech (CSE), M.Sc in Computer Science and several specialisations in the doctoral programmes (PhD). The first Computer Science undergraduate course was offered in 1982, while the first Computer Science graduate course was offered in 1986. The institute was chosen by the Defence Research and Development Organisation (DRDO) as a centre for manpower development in the field of Computer Science, where students were hired as Scientist B in DRDO up to 1992.
JK Institute of Applied Physics and Technology fee structure is nominal and students can pay the course fees in easy installments. Moreover, the institute offers several financial assistance and scholarship programmes for meritorious and eligible students. Candidates shall note that the fee structure varies category-wise. For example, the B.Tech fee for general category candidates is Rs 40,000 in comparison to the SC/ST students, who have to pay Rs 24,000 tuition fees for the B.Tech programme. However, the university fees and the hostel fees are similar for all category students. The JK Institute of Applied Physics and Technology hostel fees (without mess) is approximately Rs 15,000 per year.
J.K. Institute of Applied Physics and Technology Allahabad admissions 2024 are now open for various courses. For B.Tech admissions, JEE Main scores are taken into consideration. Library: One of the largest in the area, the university library has over 10,000 books and journals to offer all possible books to students.
Auditorium: Numerous technical and non-technical activities are held in the auditorium throughout the year. It can seat approximately 200 people.
Computer Lab: The computer lab is well-equipped with more than 100 top-of-the-line computers connected to high-speed internet.
Electronic Lab: The department's eight or more separate labs are used to study the various ECE subjects.
Ground: Events like SWAT CUP, Techno Cup, and Avirbhav competitions are held on both a football pitch and a cricket pitch of the ground. The institute makes sure students achieve academic as well as physical wellness.
GD Room: The GD Room is well-equipped to give students a suitable setting in which to conduct GDs.
